Macroinvertebrate Season
September 20 @ 8:00 am – October 4 @ 5:00 pm

What are macroinvertebrates and why collect them?
Macroinvertebrates are small aquatic organisms without backbones, like crayfish, clams, and larvae of common bugs like mayflies, black flies, and dragonflies. We use a formula based off their identification as a way to calculate water quality.
